Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: THE BILL CAGE. I’ve been wanting to do something like this ever since we trapped Bill in a bird cage in the early parts of Blood Chains, and when I found this cool decorative cage at a flea market, I knew it was time for action. Two weeks well spent!
I ended up making five tiny Bills instead of one big Bill, because I wanted to portray multiple emotions that have to do with losing one’s freedom. We have rage, desperation, resignation, crisis, and SADNESS (the last one legit breaks my heart a bit, omg). Don’t ask me if all of these fit in the scale of Bill’s emotional capability, but I had fun conveying them either way. :>
Made of wool, wire and hard work, as always! The existential crisis Bill is holding a little teacup charm @rustedqueen kindly provided me with, so all thanks to her for the awesome prop. <3
I’ll probably sell these little pals eventually at a low price (or not… it might take a year or two tbh), but in the meantime, if you’re interested, you can order your own custom made Bill (or any other character) from my Etsy shop!
